Mine is a MK3. I was told it would but I would be nuts to listen to some of the memory sellers on ebay. When I get it I will try it , if it boots it works ...Rob wrote:It depends on the mark... I currently have 2 CF-51's in stock and they take DDR1....
Blair, if you're referring to the Mk3, then DDR2 PC-5300 will fit/work. I've installed 3gb, out of the 4gb max, in my CF-51RCLDFBM. You'll love the increase in speed, especially when you have many applications or browser windows opened.toughasnails wrote:The CF-51 takes DDR2-PC-4200 533 and I have 2 / 1GB DDR2 PC-5300 667 from my dell XPS...
Well I am glad I didn't throw them on ebay. The 51 should be here tuesday with any luck. I never heard from the guy with the CD's so tonight I am loading a 80GB harddrive with XP OEM , is yours XP or XP Pro ? I have all the drivers downloaded .ToughNut wrote:Blair, if you're referring to the Mk3, then DDR2 PC-5300 will fit/work. I've installed 3gb, out of the 4gb max, in my CF-51RCLDFBM. If it's another Mk2, it'll need DDR1. Update us when it's done.
