Well I finally did it!!

#1 Post by opfor2 »

Well I finally bought my self an updated CF-31 to replace my old CF-30. It's a model CF-31JBGHX1M, 4 g ram, on board GPS and running Windows 10, even tho OEM it was running Win7. So far I couldn't be more please with this unit. I do have some questions.

1. I would like to add 4 more gigs of ram is this possible?

2. I would like to add an GOBI5000 card and not sure which one to get off of eBay

3. What programs need to be downloaded inorder to make the GOBI5000 card operational?

Thanks

Dan..

1. Yes
2. I don't use them but if you get one off ebay make sure it's a Toughbook one. Toughbooks are very fussy when it comes to aftermarket cards
