It may be a bit rough, but any parts missing I have kicking around here already like caddy, power supply, keyboard and port covers.
A MK2 CF-31JEGAX1M with over 30000 hours for 220 Canadian, shipped.
Can't believe it took me this long to get my hands on one, but they've mostly been beyond my budget.

Might not get here in time for christmas...

Wow $220.00....That's a great price Canadian. You do know that the port covers are different on the 31 compared to the 30?

Yeah, I just figured that out. I ordered the missing AC port cover this morning. There ain't many options online to buy those things at the moment.

The guy sells a lot of junk on eBay but the listing was clear on what condition it's in. I'm hoping it's not worse than advertised.

Eleven bucks shipped from Australia, probably not OEM. I know all the arguments about the real thing being better, but in the end I buy the knock-offs in bulk because I go through them like a horse eats hay.

Haven't seen a bulk deal like that for the CF-31 yet.

Got it last week. It's pretty beat up but it's the way the seller advertised it for the most part.

There's a part of the casing above the optical drive window that is pierced enough to allow water and particle ingress.
I might just consider repairing it.

Also, I installed my usual generic unocked Sierra MC7710 I pulled from my CF-30 and any option kit code other than ff makes it work, but without LTE. It is limited to UMTS/HSPA+ speeds. Any of you guys know more about these codes? I tried the suggested 40 for starters.

It's not working because the MC7710 is NOT a US card and doesn't support any US carrier 4G LTE networks... THe bands it supports are 1, 3, 7, 8, & 20.

ATT uses band 2, 4, 5 (For congestion relief), 17(12), 30 and 66
T-Mobile uses band 2, 4, 12, 66 (for congestion relief) and the new 600MHz band 71.

That is unfortunate that they would limit that in such a way. Does that mean that they configure CF-31's differently for other non-US markets?

Well of course, Panasonic is a world wide company....... That's not a limit, it's a card designed for use outside of the US by Sierra. Nothing to do with Panasonic whatsoever.

Same way as the EM7355 doesn't work outside of the US ;)
