LED displays on CF-52?

I know a CF-52 Mk3 with i3 cpu has an LED display (WXGA) but the i5 has a CFL backlight (WUXGA). Do the newer Mk4's come with an LED display or option for it? Seems both Mk4 have i5's, read the Pany brocure, no mention of LED although several vendors claimed their Mk4 is.

As far as I know, only the WXGA has LED's. None of the WUXGA has LED's. My CF52S mk4 has WUXGA and I can tell it is not LED.

Thanks. Is your cpu an i5-3360M? Believe Mk4 also comes with a slower clock option.

Ken, the mk4 is 2nd gen i5
Mine is an Intel Core i5-2540M 2.60GHz

You need a mk5 to get 3rd gen i5

I found an older spec sheet showing i5-2540 (Mk4) with a WUXGA LED display - misprint?

Either it's a misprint or this thing actually has a LED backlight in it. I am 100% positive that a mk3 WUXGA is CCFL.
Looks like I will have to split open the lid on this mk4 and take a look.
If it is LED, it is lower nit than a CF30/31

It must be a missprint. Mine is not bright al alll. My 53 is twice as bright with 140000 hours
