Rumour has it that a Panasonic CF-32 is coming out in the next 12 months.
- Lighter

- Thinner

- And finally... better screen resolution than 1024x768...

If it's too thin and light just remember you can bash it with your 31 and it will still work.

I threatened to do just that one time to a fellow with an Alienware PC that was asking me "what was so great about my CF-29." He had just come up to me in a Waffle House where I had settled to work on a report and started talking to me about my laptop and then putting it down.
I asked him to lay his computer on the table in front of me, by mine, and I would show him. Only when he watched me close the lid on my old CF-29 and raise it over my head in both hands did he grasp what I was about to do...

I did that on the insistence of a drunken patron at a pub, once. He just wouldn't let it go until I dropped it on the floor in front of him to prove the CF-19's ruggedness. I think I ended up damaging the wooden floor too.

LMAO, I KNOW my Alienware wouldn't survive that. Well screen wise. The M11x chassis is ok, I have had them survive a few drops but the top half would be gone, lol.

Comparing an Alienware to a Toughbook, is like debating which the superior vehicle, a Chevy Corvette Z06, or a Ford F-150 Pickup. The real question, is the job.
