Tried this on my mk2/w10 1903 and it does nothing. Neither does the MK2, 3 and 4 drivers. The touch does pass the built in bios diagnostic suite but is dead as a doornail in the os. Was the touchscreen changed between marks? I know my machine has been modified and it could possibly have a different lcd assembly. I have no info on it other than it came from a very toughbook knowledgeable person and has been messed with heavily.
Define messed with heavily. :)

Have you opened the top panel? (lid)

A picture would be interesting.

Kinda rare for a ts fpc/ffc to break in a CF-31. The TSPCB could be bad or unplugged.

Code: Select all

lsusb
should show the touch panel. Device 004: ID 0430:0530 Sun Microsystems, Inc.

Code: Select all

dmesg | grep Fuj
should yield three or four lines of code.

I'm not super sure that these codes actually see the touch panel itself but they should tell you if the mobo components are working.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.

Looks like someone drilled holes into the bottom case and manipulated the bios to show 590k hours of run time.

Gonna rip it apart in a few days to swap the thermal pads, i'll check the lcd assembly as well.
