That would be me. I call it the Surrender Flag because when I use it in Linux it means that Billy G has said to me "I surrender...here is your real OS. :D I miss it on the distro that do not utilize the Surrender Flag to access the menu.

Yup, if you have a mechanical keyboard you can go to dad keyboards and get replacement keys for the windoze key, have to look around and see if you can get a replacement form the tough book keyboard

Why use a 32 bit OS on a 64-bit capable system? I don't see the point.

Well, for me, what's the point in using a 64 bit install that I can just provide 4gb of ram for? At just 4 gb ram the 64 bit, to me, is not faster than a 32 bit on 4 gb. So I can spread the ram among my toys equally. Besides I don't do anything on these machines that requires more than a 32 bit os with 3 gb ram. That's what I have the Asus that has amultiple 64 bit os's and 16 gb of ram for.

In my opinion, there still is no point to use a 32 bit OS even over the premise of not needing more than 4GB of RAM. It doesn't make the system work better. In fact, there are several advantages of using a 64 bit OS and applications other than just using more RAM.
