Is the bluetooth in the CF-29 removeable or is it built on the motherboard? It is installed in my 1.2 and would like to pull it and install it in my 1.4 . I tried to look it up in my service manual but it does not list a bluetooth.

Removable, it goes on the same sled as the WWAN module. (If I remember correctly) I know the GPS and WWAN modules are on the sled for sure.

Are you talking about the sled that is on the left side above the battery held in with 2 screws. Mine did have it at one time but not now.

Per Toughbook in the other forum:

"It should be all assessable by removing the hinge covers and keyboard... Just remember to REMOVE your battery first! (I know... It goes without saying... But you'd be surprised!)"

Great . I was wondering if it was their or on the bottom . I am installing the Emissive Backlit keyboard today so I should be able to do it too.

Almost forgot will a hard drive door fit a PCMCIA door ...same?
Can't get mine off to check.

The PCMCIA door. They look the same.

No hurry at all. Its filled at the moment sd reader and the tray that holds 2 spare cards
