I've seen ones mounted to the dashboard over here for a supermarket chain called Ocado, our breakdown services such as the RAC and AA also have them fitted in the Ford Transit, Roadside Recovery vans.

I'll see if I can have a word with the next RAC guy I see at the roadside and see if he'll be nice enough to see if there is a part number or model number on the mount

I guess that's the best way forward
