WANTED: CF-U1 on the cheap EDIT: no longer looking
No budget as of yet, but maybe soon. Anyone have one they want to get rid of? I'm in complete love with my 19 and I want something smaller to test networks 'n stuff on.
EDIT: This has been put on hold for unknown time, maybe I'll get back on this in the future.

If you are going to be testing networks what kind of plugs are you going to be using? Wifi only? You are going to be limited to One USB port, Audio in/out, Wifi, bluetooth, 3g WWAN (takes a special daughterboard), Power port, SD card port. The U1 doesn't have a Lan line in unless you are plugged into the dock.

I'll get a screw-on dock later, gotta get a U1 first.ADOR wrote:If you are going to be testing networks what kind of plugs are you going to be using? Wifi only? And I need to get rid of a Miele washer first, for some reason the heating elements (it has 2 110v ones) wont come on at 203F/95c boil wash.
EDIT: Found out it's probably the relay for the heater, and suprisingly, this machine has a single 220v heater, and not a 2x 110v version like the W700-series had.
EDIT 2: And I repaired it, the heater was burnt out, replaced the relay for the heater at the same time and it's now happily doing a 203F boil wash.

But shipping from the USA is always a killer for overseas.

Last boarding call before I buy one on eBay..
Re: WANTED: CF-U1 on the cheap
Didn't go thorugh, lowest he wanted was 150 euros and although I could afford it that was still too high.
