The quest to get away from a 3drive RAID 5 in my workstation

I'm so tired of RAID array problems and I feel this system should be be faster for what it is and the fact that it's still worth over $2k and I have over $4k in it...
Xeon E5-2620 2GHz, 6 core CPU with 15M cache (STILL WORTH $410 2+ years later) (Sandy Bridge Socket 2011)
16GB DDR3 10700 - QUAD CHANNEL RAM running at 667 MHz
2GB GTX660ti vid card running at 731MHz core clock
RAID 5 3 x 300GB RAPTOR 10k drives
I wanna switch to an SSD but I don't have an M.2 slot on my $500 motherboard (SHUCKS).
What is the best SSD drive that is less than $300-$350USD TOPS (No I don't care about size. 128GB is fine for all I care, it just HAS to be FAST!). I wanna ditch the 3 drive system entirely, wipe/reload and start over.
I have a DX79SI board with SATA 6.0 on it so no issues there.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
