Process tweaking tool

#1 Post by Springfield »

A while back someone was recommending a process tweaking tool, might have been Ador? Anyone recall that, or have a recommendation. Trying to track down some funky stuff on a friend's PC . . . .

The one I was talking about was Process explorer, they make standard and portable version.

http://filehippo.com/download_process_explorer

Also if you want to cross scan the system without installing another Antivirus I use these portable antivirus's from time to time with good results.

http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/free ... inger.aspx

Stinger comes ready to go after you download it, but you have to download the new version to update it.

The next two can be updated and ran portable.

Here are some more, but I haven't personally used them.

http://portableapps.com/apps/security/h ... s-portable

I have talked to Shawn about the one he uses, but just haven't had a need/chance to try it out yet.
