Bluetooth problems

Tried to setup a MoGo mouse with my CF-53 and surprised that the OEM/Toshiba BT utility says there is no BT device. BT shows as working in Device Manager and I had this CF-53 paired with a different BT mouse a while back that worked fine. Last week I was having the same symptom with 2 different CF-H1 tablets -- BT turned on, shows as working in Device Manager, yet the OEM BT Assistant software says there is no BT device present. All 3 units are running OEM Win7 Pro.

I'm wondering if there was a recent Win7 update that messed up the Toshiba BT utility? Anyone else seeing this issue? Any recommendations for an alternate BT utility to try?

So yesterday I downloaded the OEM BT driver to try reloading it, but didn't reload then just shut it down. Just now fired up the 53 and tried the BT again -- everything works great now. MoGo is charged up and BT Wizard found it right away.

Don't know what you guys did, but THANKS for fixing it!

So what are the best mice for these anyway? How about the "clickers" that you use for power point presentations? Share what was best for you and why.

Thanks

I went ahead and bought the mouse and plugged it in to charge, the TB has not recognized the MoGo while in charge mode, is this OK?

That's normal, it is not designed to interact with the pc-card slot just draw current to charge.

I also notice that the light on the MoGo is not lit- at all. I thought it blinks or stay lit in charging mode? Can't get it on so BT is not even seeing it... frustrating

It only charges when the Toughbook is running. Mine is showing a red led while it's charging.

Yes I left my TB on all day and nothing charged (no lights, nothing)

So its either defective MoGo or my express port is not working. My ports are on, as I am using a CAC card reader on the PCMIA(Sp?) card...
