I have just come into possesion of a fair condition CF30 that has been given to me with a suspected motherboard problem.

It is minus the battery and charger but in the right hands may be saveable or at best stripped for parts as a doner for better machines.

I'll get some pics up of it in a few mins

I am based in the United Kingdom but the first sensible offer will take it, it doesn't owe me anything so I'd rather it go to someone who will make use of it.

Postage will obviously have to be paid by the buyer but I can get a quote before anything is set in stone.

Zac

Postage to the states will be about $65 to 85 depending on priority or priority express. The problem will be we are up to our ears in CF-30mk1's here, the government dumped truckloads of them.

I just paid $43 for one that worked, just saying so you know what you are up against. :D

Right in that case I need a Charger, Battery, HDD enclosure then at that point I'll be able to determine whether or not it needs a new motherboard

Actually a charger and a cd drive with a Linux live cd will get you started enough to do a quick diagnosis on it.
You don't need a battery or HDD to run it.

At the very minimum you just need a charger to power up the machine.
If all goes well, you can run the diagnostics in the bios or hit the shortcut key "Ctrl + F7".
