C2 Bios locked out!

Hello All,

I love Toughbooks, the only laptop I will use. Currently using a CF-52.

I have been to a few shops, no one seems to be able to help with this problem. Bought this toughbook off of Ebay, CF-C2. It has a Bios password. I can't find a way around it. I think it is going to cost me $230+ to have Panasonic remove, so I wanted to see if anyone here had advice on how to remove. I have searched and read the Bios articles that are on here, but there was nothing involving the CF-C2. Any help appreciated.

I wish I could help you but as you have found out these Toughbooks are impossible to crack. Is there a reason you need into the bios.

The whole computer is locked out because of the Bios Password. I cant use the computer without it being removed.

So it's a power on password? or you just can't load a OS on it?

Hi,

As requested by ADOR, is it a boot up password? If not then I can think of at least two or three ways to do it... They might be a little tricky for you, sorry I don't know what your skill level is.

1) Remove HDD and try and boot from USB (make a bios password removal tools USB stick)
2) Replace the hard drive with a unit that boots to bios password removal tools. (you can make this yourself)
3) Boot from LAN to a PXE server with bios tools as an option (you can make this yourself)

I do hope this helps, or at least this gives you options,

Ross
