Been digging deeper again.

http://www.panasonic.com/business/tough ... rtners.asp

That is the link to just the configerator with out anything else there just a white page with search bar, and it will bring back results.

http://www.panasonic.com/business/tough ... =1#results

That is the link that brings back your results. I think you can mod the (CF-19khrax2b) to whatever you want, press enter and it will come up. Haven't tested it yet. Still going though the last pull of code. 16 pages worth now in a word document.

As usual, Ador is brilliant...

Yes, you can put whatever model in the address bar and it spits it back to us exactly what it is. It doesn't say "Current, Channel Limited or Discontinued" though.

What can we do with it?

Thanks!

I "think" the bottom link is the page the info is stored at. So I just got to figure out how to access it properly. If I can't maybe if it goes down again we can use it as a direct link. As I think the reason it wasn't working before was some of the links on the page were broken.

And has the configerator got a update? The model number I put in didn't end in "M" but yet it worked????

If I can find the right code for this phpBB forum to embed that link on the top into it and have a forum page with the new configerator embedded into the page like those two other websites. It would always be on top as Post #1 of that thread.

In the end we want the local site on MY servers... We'd have to update it quite frequently.

It's something I don't mind doing if you show me how.

Someone ganked the OLD configurator site before it was shut down and I have it and we use it all the time for old ass Toughbooks...... It should be possible to do the same with this right?

Thanks again Ador for all your hard work!!! :)

That's why I have been going though the code again since the site is now up. Trying to find the right links to make that work offline, so to speak. I asked Austin to look though the java code again to see if he sees anything else.
