				Hello all
Jim here, a certified Tuff Book
NuBee with a dumb question.

 I have purchased a Transcend TS64GPSD330 64 GB
pata SDD . Now for the dumb question
The SDD has three options 1: Master, 2: Slave 3: Cable
being new to SDD's most HDD I have installed have a setting
for master, slave, cable and SINGLE. anyone know for sure what the setting for
SINGLE on the Transcend TS64GPSD330-64GB
BTW this forum rocks, Thanks Jim

Don't know for sure about the Transcend, but 'Master' would be the setting I would use.

I've put Transcend in CF-18 and CF-29 with good results. If you're using Win XP, be sure to load CCleaner and go to the lowest tab Tools then check Erase Unused Space (or similar) ;-). Its like TRIM for Win7 and keep the SSD running fast.

I don't recall adjusting any jumper out of the box, maybe I didn't notice that. But I'm pretty sure Panasonic laptops need both HD and CD to be set to Master.

I have a 32Gb Transcend ssd and have always used it just as is and never changed the jumper settings from the factory.
