One thing to keep in mind Rob for your customers is Android still has a few issues connecting with certain types of secure wireless networks. Back on Android 2.1 I didn't have a problem, Starting with version 3 the problems really started. The network here at work is hell with any Android device. Hoping next hitch out I will have my new phone and be able to do some experimenting hacking into the problem.

Also make Jeff proud and check out on the play store "Ubuntu for android" for dual core and up phones/tablets. It's a version of Ubuntu that uses the same kernel as Android 4. So by activating it you can run Android and Ubuntu side by side on the same device. It give you a full Linux desktop.

I just bought a used 64GB Blackberry Playbook and put it in an Otterbox Defender case. I love it not only for how great the resolution is, but also because it is NOT an Android. Sorry folks, but right now Android = Google and Google = Big Brother in too many ways. That's why I use Opera for a browser and Bing for a search engine (although I am thinking Firefox may be in my future). The playbook does everything I want/need it to do and for much less money. Plus, with the Otterbox, it is almost as impervious to damage.
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

How many apps are the playbook up to now? I almost got one a while back when the did that big drop in price. Did the Android app player they make work out for it?

As far as cutting big brother out there are plenty of ways to do that on Android. Being Linux based there are plenty of custom roms that allow you to do what ever you want on them.

While you still won't find as many apps for the Playbook as you do for the Ipad and Android tablets, ever since they upgraded the OS (and they just released another upgrade), the number of apps available has been steadily increasing. Plus, you have to remember, there are a ton of apps out there that 90% of the people will never need or use. So far, the apps on this Playbook have pretty much covered all my needs/wants.

That's good, looked like a good solid product and early tails when if went on sale about it was going to be dying out turned a lot of people off to it. Glad to hear they are still supporting it and keeping it going. Some of my favorite pc's they dropped support after a year or so. You need the special bios just to load right OS on a BenQ S6, lots of stuff is closed source on it. A small base of it is compatable with debian so I hope some of those Linux programs I want will work. I think when you do load XP on it the wwan doesn't work because of software they wont' give out. Been thinking maybe the 20 pin mod might work here as it's in a Mpci-e slot.

Rob, we will be expecting a full review and video after you have had time to play with your new toy, lol.
