Has anyone here ever owned or shot one? I have been wanting to get one for years and starting to get serious and looking for one. I don't want a perfect collectors item, I plan on shooting it and if it doesn't have it the stock holster for it.

There is one I have been eyeballing. Got a friend in town with his own shop and FFL so that isn't a problem. I seem to favor the longer barrel original ones. They had to make the barrel on them shorter after WW2 to knock the accuracy some off of them.

If you find a holster with rotten leather I know someone who can restore it.

I have a few buddies who live in that town where the pistol is, funny.

I will check with my local Gsmith, they have tons of older military weapons. Just got in a full auto BAR a week ago.

Back online. The rigs router and modem went down. They sent the replacement out to the rig today by chopper. Got it put in. Got internet and phones back now.

I am still looking, I might go ahead and try to buy one when I am in. I want to make sure I get a shooter what ever I get.

Did either of you get the boxes?

Yep, I am still in the sand box. Jeff said he got his and was thrilled with it. I am waiting on the chopper so I will be home late on the 19th. It's the morning of the 18th here now.

My sincere apology for not letting you know.
I've been distracted by my new/used lol Kubota 5130.
Been working on it grease etc. between rain storms.

I've never owned a modern (less than 100 yr. old) tractor before.

Right now I am between storms and setting up a CF-74 for a local purchase.
