My first post at Toughbooktalk

#1 Post by orphanlr »

As this is my first post after lurking for a while, I'd like to start the day with a rather strange proposition.

I recently obtained a large cache of black nylon bicycle pants, some sizes new with tags still on them, some new without tags, some used but good condition. They have side cargo pockets, zippers at the ankles with the elastic straps that go under your feet, and elastic waist with belt loops. They are made by Olympic, for police bicycle officers, and sold for about $112. I have a lot of these, so it’s safe to say I probably every size. If you ride a bicycle in mildly cooler temperatures these are the ticket.

SO,

To the next seven people who donate $20 to Rob at Toughbook Talk, I will mail to you a pair of these, at no additional cost to you. Donate $30, and I’ll send two pair. After you donate, just PM me your mailing address and it will be shipped your way. lower 48 free shipping only, outside the 48 will need to cover the shipping costs.

Please see the pictures.

Sam

If I have no more takers soon, I may have to switch to guns and knives, and their parts.

Did I hear someone say "guns"? Ooooooooooooooooooooooo!
One CF-52, four CF-18's, 4.5 CF-28's, one CF-29, five CF-M34's, two CF-37's, one CF-P2 and two CF-P1's. There are also two Getac A320T's, one Fieldpac and two IBM Transnotes. Not to mention the AMD 5600 CPU with three monitors and several HP PDA's. Whew! Must quit buying...no, must have MORE! Then there are the weapons...

I know what may work.

For a $40 donation to Toughbook Talk, I will send the donar a custom lid for a CF-18 that was cerakoted in FDE or Flat Dark Earth. For you gun owners who may have a weapon in the same color, this is the ultimate range accessory.

I had two made, and while I like it, the final cost was just to much to stomach for what we use them for. So lesson learned and you now have an oppertunity to upgrade.

I'll post a picture of it tomarrow, both the one mounted and it's twin unmounted ready for a new home.

Such a deal. :)
