Linux and CF-M34CGFZKM

#1 Post by SHEEPMAN! »

First I added 256 ram for total of 512. It's all I had laying around.

I have tried:
Mint 8 via Panasonic CF-VRDRT3 usb MULTI PLAYER.--good one
DSL (dam small linux) I personally don't like it, others do. Very quick.
Ubuntu Light-----problem understanding wireless set-up.
Puppy Linux-----I'm not used to it.
And here I am back at my Ubuntu 10.10 Custom disk...(Pen Drive)

Ubuntu turned off (muted) the sound. Clicked it on and we're rolling.

FYI

Jeff...waiting on a hdd... :salute:

I'm pretty sure the Mk7 /C / 1 MHz model uses DDR ram. I've built up several in the past, and the good thing about this model was a total 1.25 GB ram using the on-board 256 MB plus another 1 GB stick of DDR. Plenty to run XP.

I know 133 ram does not fit in a DDR slot, so maybe yours is "special"?

I could very well be mistaken...I looked at two sticks and probably got the numbers wrong. It was 256 something. I'll tell you the real number when I open it again. It was dark. :D
Whoaaa the sun came up again.

Changing the battery in my cell phone I remembered this:
Fair for you/ Fair for me.

You were correct Ken..256 PC 2100. I'll test 2700 512 in a bit....for total of 768...plenty for Linux.
