Anyone know how to repair or know anyone that repairs??? My dad has two Motorola distance DFS radios and one wont receive but sends

They are so inexpensive, it is hard to justify working on them. You might try plugging in a headphone, if that works it is a speaker problem. If not make sure that your PL/DPL is set correctly.
