Fiber upgrade tomorrow morning!

#1 Post by Rob »

Best news I've had all year although I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch (Right Jeff?)...

I will have two lines of service running at the same time now and eventually phase out the old 55M/5M fiber line once the new line is in! :)

The new line is 1GB/600M.... We had 5 - 6M and will now have 600M+

The best thing is that it isn't much more $$$. I had to sign a 1 year commitment but I don't care about that! :headbang:

I will transition over night of course.

I'll advise once this is complete.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Still not done. ATT is hassling me because I already have fiber service and they cannot have two lines at one address. I've already have a work around.

Will update more later!

So "accidentally" cut the existing line.
Just kidding.

Update:

After pushing through a local neighbor that happens to be an enterprise fiber engineer for ATT, he put my new account up the chain a bit and it's amazing that it's WHO you know!!!!

I got a call around 5:40PM on Friday from a rep from the Office of the President of ATT. WOW.... I'm blown away lol.

He said that we should get services rolling this week! :)
