I don't have the OEM adapter anymore, Just the IDE hard drive.
Ireland shipping is not terrible.
If you buy an ebay adapter, remember that you will need an original optical drive caddy to put the adapter into.

The one you linked to WILL probably NOT work..That is IDE to SATA...I never got a SATA drive to work properly...
You need IDE to IDE.

If ya start shipping stuff I recommend wrapping the hdd caddy in another CF-29 with battery and regular caddy.

Looks like $62.95 for <20 pound flat rate.

I'm confused lol, would it be expensive to ship to me then ? I am classed as UK rather than Ireland as I live in Northern Ireland

The OEM second drive setup is a different caddy than the one you have.
You can buy an aftermarket second drive adapter that will fit into your dvd caddy. If you find a ide to ide one.
Maybe Jeff has an OEM second drive adapter??

It would cost about $65.00 USD to get a complete CF29 shipped to Ireland. Uninsured. Insurance adds $5.
What the other poster(Jeff) is suggesting is that you would be better off replacing your whole CF29. Especially since you were experiencing hard drive and charging issues.. Those issues will probably return.

Jeff has a nice assortment of CF29's.

Translation from Jeffspeak to English is now complete. :)

Well everyone should have at least two. :D
I was thinking about the international battery shipping issue. Wrap it in a cheap CF-29 and it's legal.

And MK3, 4 and 5 will boot from USB....IOW it's in the boot order.

Someone on NBR will recognize this one.

Media bay takes four types (at least. There was at least one special one, SBC?)
floppie
cd/rom
media hdd
media battery pack

All different enough so hard to change.....
Did anyone ever get a hdd to run in a dismantled battery pack?
