Where to buy a CF-73 Battery?

#1 Post by Red44 »

Need to source a replacement CF-73 battery, the one in the laptop just now holds its charge for about 15 mins max before giving up. I *think* its part #CF-VZSU26. I also note there is a CF-VZSU26U mentioned - what does the 'U' denote, anyone?

Had a look online in the usual places such as eBay but the availability of these batteries appears to be very poor. Any suggestions where to source an inexpensive one?

Thanks. :)

Keep scouring Feebay! You will find one. Buy it from reputable seller NOT in China!
Rugged Toughbooks of all types... CF-31s, CF-30s, CF-29s, CF-19s, CF-52s, CF-53s, CF-74s, CF-H2... Hmmm... What else can I buy, build or modify?

I can't even find any dodgy Chinese ones....lol!!

There are a couple of used ones but I'm reluctant to take a chance on something that might work for a few weeks and then pack in. Have found a couple in stock on a few fairly obscure laptop supplies websites but the prices are ridiculous and they aren't even listed as genuine Panasonic ones.

I am not sure, but do these have the smart chip in them? If not have you considered a rebuild.

Here is one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genunine-Panaso ... 3ce70a4de8 One buyer bought 3 of them and left this feedback (Very good ebayer! Will buy here again) so they must be good.

I doubt that you can rebuild it.....I tried a older M34 and it would not work.

Managed to find an eBay seller selling 2x batteries for £37 inc delivery. I contacted him and asked about how long the battery life was considering they are used. He is a business seller and was selling a job lot of these batteries, he'd sold about a dozen already and said they were tested and in excellent condition. Buyers of the batteries have left positive feedback for him which would seem to support this so I'm hoping at £37 for two batteries I've managed to grab a bargain. :)
