I went for the one I posted the Amazon link to. It has the Marvell controller, and after reading the thinkpad thread, I figured it was compatible with more mSSDs. Before they were sent to me out of the states, I gave my 29s, and the 2 new adapters I bought to Cleve. I am sure he will post his finding with the adapters in the 29s once he acquires an mSSD or 2.
CF-29LTQ,CF-31SBM,CF-52youngGUN,

Life's Journey is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways totally worn-out shouting 'Woo Hoo! What a ride!

Motorsports - the only real sport. If it doesn't have a motor, it is just a game.

There is always something waiting at the end of the road, if you are not willing to see what it is, you probably shouldn't be out there in the first place.

I may have to try one of those, I used the mini one. I keep getting blue screen half way though the windows 7 install.

Thank you for all the input guys.
This is the ebay link for the adapter I'm ordering. The listing has finished but I'm dealing with him directly.

In theory it should allow me to use a conventional sized 2.5" drive.

He said he had stopped making them through lack of interest, but was willing to make another one for $45 plus shipping. I have his email address if anyone was interested.
Thanks for the info on the CF19 as well, I wish I'd known about them before I'd bought the 18 lol. Will keep my eye on prices for them though.

I think mine has a Marvell controller also. I can't remember at the moment...The link and photo was to just give an idea of what works for me. Pretty sure I have a 32gb in it with a Lite version of Win7. I'll start it up later today, If the vertigo  and POUNDING headache have gone away..

Ok I've just bit the bullet and purchased a pretty much mint mk3 CF-19. This incidentally comes with a free CF-18 lol so I'll now have 3x 10" Toughbooks! I'll just put the 18s on ebay and concentrate on the 19 :)
