Its not totaly enclosed ,like that crappy cf-29 caddy,It provides some shock protection , it's cheap , whats not to like ?

I just tried that last week and it does work but it only cost me $5.00 . Got the ide cable from orphanlr's Toughbook Garage Sale. :)

It's like foam / silver color. I have had a 28 MK1 laying around here for a couple of years and just wanted to see if it worked. It showed up in the BIOS but never had time to load the OS on it.
