I have never tested one

There are sure cheap from that seller, and he has a lot of them
I will wait to see what Custom has ,before buying the stock unit

Blair, I've got one in my MK4, its a piece of crap in my opinion. I might try a better antenna but I probably will just use a BU-353 USB. It worked flawlessly on my trip out west last month, and I really don't ever feel the need for internal GPS. $39 or so for the USB and it works with all my Toughbooks, not just one.

I do have a usb " ALK CoPilot " works great anytime after 1:00 PM ?? Now I know why it was only $20.00. I should have bought the Globalsat BU-353 in the first.
