I am next in line with similar specs, thanks to you (2 gig) :pbjt:
But mine will have 3g instead of gps
Still waiting for the CF-29NDLGFBM coming in from customs :wtf:
I already have 2 gig of crucial; 4gig SD; a touchscreen from a CF-29H and a 320 gig HD with win7 pre installed
They are just missing with me, I think... :D

Glad if I could help. Please post your results in my NBR thread on the subject! I was excited to see that Onirakkiss had posted the resister to cut to disable one bank of RAM. But, that would be a tough mod for the first one that decides to try it!

I will post the results (with screenshots)
As for cutting the resistor, i found hem on the schematic, but without the silk mask picture of the pcb it is impossible to find.
It is not "tough" to do it, but i am afraid for the result (as the cf-29N is still expensive for me)

Well... I just turned the bastard in for copying my listings almost word for word... The same font, color, word tracks... You name it. Ebay yanked his auctions... He has one left up that didn't look like mine. I take this shit VERY seriously as it is what pays my bills for now. The guy tried to tell me that he came up with everything himself. Even the guy I talked to at ebay said, "WOW... That is a DIRECT COPY... I'll take care of this for you."

That guy will get nothing but trouble from me. It looks like he knows how to plug stuff in... I'm not impressed....
Rugged Toughbooks of all types... CF-31s, CF-30s, CF-29s, CF-19s, CF-52s, CF-53s, CF-74s, CF-H2... Hmmm... What else can I buy, build or modify?
