I think you will find that W7 or Vista will slow down the 29 way too much. I had W7 installed in my 29 but it always crashed when I played movies, it took forever to shutdown or start up. It got to the point that I put XP back on it. My granddaughter has it now and it still has XP on it and it runs great...never a problem.

seems to be going ok so far BUT cant load the sound drivers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made the sound work for win7 and Sigmatel, but it was not simple. and I don't recall how..
I did not use Panasonic drivers, and it never was completely right....

My 29N is loading 200 updates. :eek: Take that back...1 of 200. :doh: So if I ever get it back from M$ I'll report in.
