Haha, I always end up on KP duty.

I've done this before but just not with Pana recovery disks. I'll get back to y'all with a little write-up and how-to. Right now I'm off to make some maple syrup with my buddies.

I'm going to try G4L to clone a WinXP boot CD to a USB drive. That should be close enough?

H:/i386 folder is not present on the USB drive

When I try to boot it upon restart it just says ERROR!

What about isotousb with the Bootable option checked?

This topic is drying up and getting blown away.

I tried and failed to make a Windows 7 clone to USB bootable with G4L.

I would think it should be simple to put them on a usb stick..
Odd that it's so difficult. Somewhere on NBR there is a thread about modifying one file so the CD's work on different mk's.
Maybe the same file needs modified to transfer them to one usb??
Life will beat you into submission.

If a person had an original recovery dvd or cd, they ought to be able to use K3B to make an iso of said disc. Then using that iso one ought to be able to make the same type of usb install disc that one could make for windows. At least in theory it would work. But at this time I have no such discs to attempt the process with.
CF-29ET, CF-28ST, CF-30G , CF-M34, CF-19Ch, CF-19FH, CF-19CD, CF-73 mk1, CF-74K & H, CF-51RCB, CF-51RCL, CF-52CC .

As long as the deal is good for you it is good for me.
