CF-29 screen resolution

I have a CF-29 with an 800x600 screen resolution. Some of my apps require at least 1024x768. But I'm told my version of the CF-29 (12.1" transflective touchscreen) only does 800x600.

Is there a software download that will allow me to get 1024x768 resolution on my screen without losing my touchscreen capability or other capabilities?

I noticed on the Panasonic support website there is a download labeled "Resolution," but there is no explanation of what this file does. Others have suggested this particular CF-29 model only allows 800x600 resolution. Just wondering if any of the expert on this forum can provide a definitive answer.

Thanks in advance!

David

That's what I was afraid of. But thanks for letting me know. Good to have experts on the forum who know more about TBs than I do.

Thanks.

Do you feel like changing the screen? The whole top half that is.

I have ten or so.

The R in model number is 12.1 SVGA. Unusual. To me that is.

At the top of the forum is an big arrow. Click and go to old_configurator/index.htm/discontinued find CF-29 and use the configure button to check your models configuration.

A little more blather.

I have had very few (none) touch panel issues with the CF-29 MK1. (probably
< 10 units)
MK 2 CF-29 up to MK1 CF-30....issues galore. (cured with a new panel)

My "man" told me that the D was a lower price alternative. That doesn't matter.....as long as the plugs line up.

At this point .....if you can plug in a 13.3 inch monitor to the MK 1 you may have what you want.

So...what country are you in? Postage and etc.

FYI I have a running CF-29CTKGZKM using a techtuff adapter 180 SSD.

If you are in the US PM and we will talk by phone for a minute or 15. PM's take weeks.

Or not....no hard feelings. :D
