OK, got EVERYTHING panasonic related to the CF29 mk 1 working except the last flagged driver in device manager, which is the video driver, and the display driver is still standard vga. So, do I use method 1 http://www.adepttech.com/blog/?p=17
method 2 http://forum.notebookreview.com/panason ... 8-mk1.html
One method actually takes ownership of the driver files and forces the 82855 driver to be accepted by windows 7, the other uses a 945GM driver and Disables integrity checks. Is the 945GM driver method used for the CF18 to get screen rotation? Thus it would not apply to the CF 29 mk1? Before I go monkeying around with modifying the registry and taking ownership of files etc. I'd like to know which is the better method, or which has better application to the CF 29.
BTW, I found the thread and postings in Notebook review on the CF18 install of windows 7 to be very helpful.. That is what enabled me to get all of the panasonic specific stuff working on the 29 mk1.
