OK this may border on the absurd, but I have Windows 8 running on a CF-29 and it also works pretty darned good. I basically followed my Windows 7 procedure to get the drivers and Panasonic apps working. Everything worked, including the hotkey driver, except the video driver. However, the generic windows video driver was good enough to get 1024 X 768 resolution, so that's fine for now. Windows 8 blocked loading the CF-29 Vista video driver.

Windows 8 seems to be mostly Windows 7 inside with a new launch pad and start menu. The traditional desktop is in there also though. Still exploring this though. Runs IE10 and sent this post with it using IE10.

Good job :salute: . Have you tried watching movies on it yet. That was the problem with mine on W7, it crashed all the time on me.

No, not yet. I'll give it a whirl.

Do you mean a DVD movie, or a browser imbedded video or streaming like Netflix?

I start checking out that type of thing. So far I have not.
