Sorry about the double post rob but figure this would be a good spot for it too. Well I really should of put it here in the first place :D Anyways I figure I would put this here just so members who have the CF-29 MK1 with factory bluetooth can do to install it.
Did some reading on Microsoft site UGX was the bluetooth . Said to install SP2 to fix the problem. I downloaded SP2 and restarted and it found new hardware (UGX BLUETOOTH) let windows search for drivers and installed it. Bluetooth works fine .But as most of us know 9 times out of 10 its the hotkey .....most of the time as rob has stated
So if anyone has the same model as mine (CF-29 MK1) with factory bluetooth just install XP SP2 and this will fix the problem. :)

just came across the CF-29ETPCKKM model that was going to use as a parts machine and had KB issue Rob got me in the right direction here and saw on screen new hardware UGX, so this is bluetooth. have issues with this term as I try so desperately to get a shade match and blue ain't one of them. anyway, again showing my technolgical depravity so here's another area in which I must learn uses for all this, thanks,..........Driller

Let me know if you are lacking the right software in XP for the bluetooth
I have some old files that worked on a cf-18 mk-2
For some reason on that machine xpsp3 did not have the correct drivers/aplication for the built-in bluetooth and I spend days finding software

How do you know if you have Bluetooth installed as I would love to have it. I have a MK2 and if it's not there, how do I retro fit it or can I just use a usb dongle ?
