Something missing / unknown device

#1 Post by toughasnails »

Thanks for the invite Rob. Site is looking good.
I got this CF-29 a few weeks ago and have loaded XP Pro and all the drivers but 1 ? .The BIG question is which one :help: Everything works great as far as I know. Panasonic list this as having a Verizon 1xRTT but it did not come with it , if I am right it fits above the battery. It would be no good to me anyways because I live in Canada .
I know my way around a CF-28 after reading all the topic's and post on NBR forum but this is a new ball game for me but I been reading up on a lot so far
No sure about the pic I am including with this post will tell you anything or not
Thank you
Blair

Hotkey driver. Had the same problem, 1 unknown device. Download the latest hotkey driver from my folder at http://www.toughbooktalk.com/public_downloads, go to contributing members, then Doobi, then open the folder for cf-29 drivers (all marks).

Just scroll down to the hkey drivers for your mk version and see if that works.

You know all the reading I have done on the CF-28 on drivers missing and its always the hot key driver that is missing so it was the first thing I checked before I asked for some help. I went and checked and that is the same file I downloaded from robs site last week. Not sure what happen last week  but I reinstalled it tonight and no more " unknown device ".
Thanks again doobi
