Broke my grub could use some tips please.

OK so now I have really screwed some things up, my grub no longer shows up when booting even when holding shift. This came about from me mucking about changing boot order (which went fine) to boot windows first instead of my broken mint.
Well since it went well I got greedy and tried the next recommend trick of hiding the grub unless you hold shift by turning the time down to 0 so it boots straight into Windows if you do nothing. Somewhere in there went wrong for me and will no longer do anything but say grub loading when hitting shift.
Right now I have win 7 32, kali and mint all installed and somewhat working (well I broke mint but I'm learning) kali runs the best lol.
Any hints on how I un brake this thing? Or do I go with my first instinct of tossing the drive and starting over with a fresh 7 64 install dual booting to mint. Kali works better out of the box on my machine but seems much more limited and I really only enjoy the wifite part which I had on mint anyways.
