just installed the new version of kali 64-bit on my cf-30 mk3 and it works right out of the box. The only issue is the toughscreen calibration but after I installed xinput-calibrator fixed that issue. I do not have az gps in either of my units yet but once I do I will post an update on how kali handles this.
CF-19KHRAX2M upgraded to 4gb ram and 128gb ssd, adding gps.
CF-30FASEZAM upgraded to 4gb ram, sr71 wlan and 128gb ssd, adding gps

Everything worked for me, including GPS. Having to use xinput-calibrator is a given on non-digitizer models. Overall I was pleased with it but I eventually bought a very cheap 64GB SSD and put my usual Debian on it, and any utilities I need can be obtained through other means. I am now using it more than my CF-19 because of the brighter screen and longer battery life.

I do have an 80gb hdd in my cf-30 right now, but am working on aquiring a 128gb ssd in the near future. I just bought a gps from proton computers on ebay, wanted the ublox6 but did not have the funds right now. I will post on the process of getting the gps working when I get mine.

You will see a big difference in boot up and opening and closing programs, so much faster. My guess you bought a OEM GPS ? They work fine. I have one in my 19 and 30 and it runs good. Gets me where I need to go :)

The difference is night and day. The 5400 RPM SATA drives on these things aren't exactly zippy.
