It took a day or two before he got back to me, then he replied to me three times in the same day when I asked if anyone else has reported GPS problems.

Well I found out what was wrong. If the laptop does not see the harddrive or cd/dvd then the boot menu will not show up in the bios so that means I have to look at the motherboard. Will update when I look at the inside of it :)

bugger... seems he doesn't ship outside the US. And ebay wont let me contact him...

It should work into any toughbook even on the ordinary plastic laptop.

Grab it while you can.

Go back and look at my post on the top of page 5. I tried the gobook 2 gps in a CF-18, found it no problem, even showed up as itronix GPS. All you need is the itrxgps.inf file and I posted a link to it.

I was not sure if you used your 18 or not when trying the GPS. Did you keep it in or were you just trying it out ?
