FZ-G1 Dedicated GPS Problems?

Finally got my hands on a G1, model number is FZ-G1ASK4CCM. It's been an awesome little toughpad so far, (I've only had it for 3 days). Pretty much the only problem I have with it is the dedicated GPS system. I can't get a solid lock on any satellites. I've been testing outside in clear sky conditions, using Winfast Navigator and the standard Panasonic GPS Viewer application. My G1 can see satellites using the dedicated GPS on COM3, but it won't ever lock on a satellite. I've tried Factory, Cold Start, Warm Start, and Hot Start in Winfast. Defective module maybe? I've got GPS data streaming in through both programs, but the G1 either can't or won't lock onto satellites. My G1 is running Windows 10 Pro x64 if that helps.

Note: I'm running COM3 on a 4800 baud rate on both programs, these programs are NOT running at the same time. It's one or the other for testing. Any ideas? :damnit:

Hey Rob, can you decode the model number for me? The eBay seller I got the Pad from wasn't really specific on the internals. I'd appreciate it a lot.
