Yes, perhaps, though I can't believe there is so much difference in the hardware versions that it's not possible to support them all.
As for getting Windows 10 in the first place, I had almost blown it off since it never popped up to auto-install, but it finally did, so I let it go to see if the tablet support had improved any. There's not much difference though; the on-screen keyboard is a bit less likely to resize my app windows, but that's about it. I had Classic Shell on it before for a start menu, and still do (sorry MS, live tiles don't do anything for me but waste space).
I have a 1TB mSATA SSD waiting to go in it when I get time, and once I do that, I'll probably try out Ubuntu Touch and PC-BSD on it. If they work OK then Windows 10 gets kicked to a VM
