hibernation option

Hey folks wish you happy new years everyone.
I miss the hibernate option from my mk2, on my mk5. it's really not working the same. On my mk2 when I pressed Fnf10 the screen and all the front light turned off and it could stay like that for 2 days without shuting down. I could even change the battery when on hibernation mode. On my mk5 when I press fnf10 it shuts down the screen and all the lights exept stand by light. I tried a couple times to change the baterry pack but it's really not entering the same mode than my mk2?
Somebody knows something about that?
