CF-19 Mk5 vs Mk6 7 8

While looking up the newer 19 specs to work on updating the info in the CF-19 info thread I see there doesn't look like a big jump in CPU speed and after the Mk6 they all have Intel 4000 graphics. Is there any real advantage to a Mk 7 or 8 over the 6 on speed? I have a 5 now and besides getting better graphics I don't see a reason to really upgrade if you have a 6 at least.

Not much difference from what I see.
Mk 6 has different touchpad from mk5 and I am pretty sure it will boot UEFI, but it is not mentioned anywhere.
Mk7,mk8 gave UEFI switch in bios.
If you want a mk6, let me know. I have one together and one in a box.

Mk6 has USB3, way better GPU, more frugal yet faster CPU (Sandy Bridge is trash power consumption wise), Ambient Light Sensor and that's it. Mk7's are not worth the money and the 19 Mk8 is a straight up scam, shit-tier CPU for the same price, no thank you very much Panasuckit!

Also, UEFI = NSA/CIA/idefk backdoor risk, you'll never know what they put in it.

Then again, if you want maximum freedumbs a ThinkPad T60 with Libreboot (maintainer is a batshit insane tranny though) and Gentoo Hardened should get you maximum freedom, hardware and software wise.

If NSA-CIA wants info on my life they can have it. Maybe the reading will help them fall asleep.

cf19mk5 has better sata speed than mk6 and also better turbo boost.
but overall mk6 has better performance, as mk5 can't sustain turbo speeds for long periods.

I've realized two weeks ago that my cf19mk6 has to stay in service until at least cf20mk3 comes out, as cf20mk1 is ~30% thinner/lighter/SLOWER than cf19mk6.
Thus I've spray-painted my company logo on the lid to make me feel better about running this old tank for a few more years ;-)

MK7 and above on dual touch models also have multi-touch! A MUST for Win 10 users! :)

This however, is a awesome feature, except DT 19's are extremely expensive I last checked.

About $1000 used, yes.

My Mk5 is still running strong. Just got looking over the specs and it didn't look like there was much of a difference performance wise between the Mk6-8 units.

I don't use touch on mine enough to even worry about dual touch.

I am ready to ditch 64 bit windows 10 in the 960 gb samsung ssd. Not liking it at all. I may give it one more go. Cut everything else not need out. I am thinking of swapping 10 to the 250gb hard drive that has 7 on it now and drop the 1tb ssd with windows 10 on it to 64 bit windows 7 pro. I just upgraded it from 4gb to 8gb. The rubber keyboard is soon to get the boot as well. I have several standard keyboards but may try to get a emissive one. I will be looking at putting the extra CF-30 custom toughbooks gps unit into the Mk5 as well.

Only reason I may get another one is for the improved graphics, but I can't do that until I have some more budget to work on.

The other ones I use is CF-30 Mk2 for autostuff, CF-19 Mk3 linux test bed with locked bios but everything working, CF-19 Mk3 beat to hell chips missing, knock around toughbook for my shop pc, CF-U1 as a carry around back up.
