This is probably another newb question, but I have been struggling with it for a couple of hours, so now I'll ask the pro's:

I have an "unknown device" in the device manager, and from the hardware ID I get the following:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0103&SUBSYS_833810F7&REV_09
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0103&SUBSYS_833810F7
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0103&CC_118000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0103&CC_1180

I am familiar with looking up vendor and device codes like these in order to figure out devices from adventures with other windows computers. However, this one doesn't seem to code out to anything meaningful. 8086 seems to be Intel, but there is no Intel device 0103 that I can find. I've found threads on various websites suggesting that this could be the Intel Extended Thermal Model, but the Panasonic site doesn't offer a driver for that past a Vista CF-19 Mk2. :wtf:

The computer is a Mk5 CF-19AHUAG1M running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.

Any idea's?

Joe

I am not familiar with that driver either but there are driver bundles available now that do all the work
for you. Download 19 mk5, Windows 7 file name is 19ab-mk5-786

Click on driver bundle here http://business.panasonic.com/support-c ... hdownloads

Thanks Nick! That worked great for my Mk5. I notice that there is no bundle for the Mk1 though? I am having a similar problem with my Mk1. Its a CF-19CHBL2BM also running Windows 7 Professional. Why is there no bundle on the Panasonic website for this machine, and any idea's? If I download and install the Mk2 bundle will it work?

ETM or Extended Thermal Model. (whatever that is)

/intel/pci-data-acquisition-and-signal-processing-controller/

As to why.......... "could it be because of the bios update/downgrade business" needed in the CF-30MK1 and 19MK1??? i.e. Vista bios needed for W7. Speculation.
