My other beater came in, it's not as bad as the last one. Bios is locked so I took a chance on it and got it pretty cheap. It did come with a good battery it seems though. I can boot from a usb stick but not cd/dvd drive. Also boot to lan seems to be a option at boot up. I dropped Mint 15 on it so I can see what it can do. Wifi and bluetooth is unlocked as well.
