New Toughbook CF-19 upgrades at work

Where I work they have been talking about upgrading the Toughbooks on all the forklifts. Well came in today and wow . Brand new CF-19zA001CM MK8. ..about $5000.00 each Canadian. Heard they bought 40 for our plant and another 150 for the other 8 plants. Looks just the same as my MK5. :pbjt:

They have pc's on forklifts???? Shoot, we were lucky to have plastic sheeting for the weather.

We zip tie cardboard on top when it rains.

Work? Job? Oh,no Thank you...... :eek: :D the state boys here have 19's in their cruisers,not sure what model.

Wasn't worried about the rain then. It was the snow, sleet, and freezing rain, that hurt. Weather on a rivers edge can be brutal at times. Saw some winters that reminded me of my Maine years. But I STILL can't get my head around the concept of pc's on a forklift.............................
