trackpad and mouse freezing

#1 Post by sakkara »

cf-19 mk5
whenever i try to load software both usb mouse and touch-pad freeze at the first confirmation screen
only way to continue the install is to use the stylus to click yes after that software installs and and both mouse and touch-pad work fine
have tried unplugging usb mouse and track-pad still frozen

this has a brand new copy of windows 7 64 bit from an original panasonic recovery ISO
i have an identical unit which has the exact same issue

help please :damnit:

Reset all BIOS settings to default (last screen), if you have not already.

Does this have USB 3.0? I just added USB30 driver for CF-53A to this unit. 53AAGZX1M.

Is your device manager error free?
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.

Do the complete install without the usb mouse..
When it is completely installed and ALL windows updates are done, Install the mouse driver, Then connect the usb mouse..
What software are you trying to install?? Windows?
Life will beat you into submission.

Well it does happen, it's always the WiFi card with me...never the mouse

Do not plug the usb mouse in until everything is installed and running properly.
Use the touchpad during the install process.
