Windows 10 driver for mc8355

#1 Post by phirephoto »

Hi All,

I have a MC8355, but can't seem to find Windows 10 drivers for it. Anyone know where to get Windows 10 drivers? Not finding anything on google :(

Thanks,

What model # is your toughbook? Panasonic drivers.ca has some stuff.

The MC8355 MUST be a Panasonic card.
Fair for you/ Fair for me.
I chose to NOT be organized.

It is a Panasonic card. It came from me.
It is a CF-31ATAAX2M

Maybe one of these will work

Gobi-3000 Software for AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless Support
The Sierra Wireless Watcher connection manager and Driver for the Sierra Wireless MC8355 module supports AT&T, Sprint and Verizon 3G network connectivity. This software is for all 3G ready Toughbook computers including Toughbook models CF-19, CF-31, CF-53, CF-H2, CF-C1 and CF-C2.

So installed both drivers... Not too familiar with this on Windows (I do IT for a living but only ever used like USB air cards). I run the Sierra Wireless Aircard Watcher app and it says no device detected?

oh.

I forgot
You need to get into BIOS
Find "Optional Configuration"
set it to the proper number. Try 04. I'm not sure
Save settings...reboot.

Hmm.. I have a CF-31 with 2.00.1201. Let me try to find 1208.
I just have Concealed Mode and Fan Diagnostics.
