Anyone have the specs on what video ram is in what mk?

MK1:
540M CPU with switchable graphics in BIOS:

Interesting that the on board Intel video has more ram than the ati.
Do you know the ram vram speed with ati? Ddr3 ddr5 etc?

Pretty sure the 5650 is GDDR3, and the others are GDDR5.

Didn't realize the ATI 31 models graphics could swap in the bios. I doubled checked and the 6750m has two different versions of the card. One with gddr3 the other gddr5. Apples and most business class machines have the lower end ram. On the desktop cards around the same make on the 6570 the gddr5 version has about 10 more FPS than the gddr3 version.

If I get this mk1 ATI equipped CF31 up and running, I will run some tests to see what vram it has.

It sounds highly likely that the mk2 also uses gddr3. Knowing Panasonic does not really care about speed much.

My CF31 mk1 ATI is supposed to be delivered today.
