CF31 hot keys

#1 Post by alcamar1 »

I now have win 8 pro working on my CF31, the only thing I have found not working is the screen brightness hot keys, whick I use a lot out in the garage or outside for my digital shop manuals for my JD tractor or my '59 chevy pickup. I have removed & reloaded the drivers from the Panny win 8 help web page many times but can quite get it. Has anyone else upgraded from the factory installed win 7 pro. to win 8 pro. & got all the hot keys to work? I have done several searches but have not found any help.

You've probably seen these but I replaced TEST with CF-31 hotkeys and got several :) hits. Conflict with stand-by was one.

Yours sounds a little like either a missing or more likely install done out of order. Hotkey, appendix etc.

Do you have a picture of your device manager?

Thanks for the help, I now have all the hotkeys & the popup menu working like new, it must have been the order of installing the drivers as reinstalling the video driver & then the hotkey driver & app fixed it.

Hello,
I am having a similar problem, but on windows 7 pro. I am much less computer savy than others, I am working on that! So I can change my brightness with my hot keys but within 3 seconds it goes right back to the 50% brightness. Thanks gents

Most probably drivers were installed in the wrong order.

What's full model number please?

How was installation done?
